Another school year is now coming to a close and we are so thrilled to see all of the amazing work that our students have produced over the year. We had a fantastic time at our annual end-of-the-year exhibition at the Cheshire Public Library (pictures coming soon!). The last day of V's Advanced Drawing classes was last Saturday - here are pictures. Such an awesome group of students!

Today we had the pleasure of being invited to visit the studio of artist Richard Lytle. We were blown away by the colors, the compositions, the fluidity, and the sheer size of his work. There is nothing quite like seeing the very place where an artist's ideas come to life. 

We are incredibly honored and excited that Richard will be displaying a few prints of his paintings at Palette Art Studio for our June art show for Massaro Farm, which will feature the work of several artists who have been friends and supporters of the farm over the years. The reception will be on June 4th, from 2-5pm.

On January 22nd, we celebrated the official grand opening of our new Woodbridge location. The turnout was amazing, as was the food, generously provided for us by Miya's Sushi in New Haven. Here are a few photos from the event.

During the months of March and April, the students of Palette Art Studio will be exhibiting their artwork at the Woodbridge Town Library. The creations displayed include still lives, animals, abstraction, portraits, and landscapes, and are created with a variety of mediums, such as oil, gouache, tempera, pencil, and ink.

March 1st to March 30th: All Ages Exhibition.
March 30th to April 29th: All Ages Exhibition featuring the artwork of high school seniors Katharine Wu and Dan Galasso
Reception: April 2nd, 2pm - 4pm, open to the public

Ware excited to announce that we are opening a second studio location! This new space will primarily be a workspace and gallery, but we will also be holding classes and workshops here. Our new studio is located at 245 Amity Rd, Suite 109, Woodbridge, CT. We are very busy creating a calendar with exciting new events and offerings at this new space, and we will be posting it here on our website soon. We are so excited to share this news with everyone, and we hope that this new space will create more opportunities for the arts community of our Greater New Haven area to thrive.

We are holding our annual senior student exhibition during the month of March, at the Woodbridge Town Library. The reception will be on Saturday, March 21st, 2:30-4:00pm. Please come join us to celebrate the achievements of our students, before they embark on their journeys to college next year.
